Spring 1

Pink Class - What's in the sky?

Our topic this half-term is:

What's in the sky?

Together we are going to dive into all of the amazing things that we can explore in the sky using some of our sense. We can look at the birds flapping their wings, we can hear the airplanes roaring through the clouds or the thunder striking also, we can feel the rain and snow falling from the sky on our skin. Pink class can't wait to get started on the new topic and to show your what we will get up to in Spring 1!

In the first few weeks of our Spring term, we have been looking at the weather and exploring that across all of the activities in class and outside in all learning spaces. We have also been investigating things that fly and spin in the sky such as birds, kites and windmills!

Some of the exciting activities that we have been looking at were; kite flying in the discovery park, a kite hunt looking for all the different coloured kites hidden around school, making it rain with the big umbrella in Attention Everyone lessons, making bird collages and looking at the lights in the light and sound room that represent the sun, moon and the stars.
