Spring 2 - Food Glorious Food ...
This term we focused on food. We listened to the different Supertato stories and explored the different food characters. We made Supertato posters using potato peel and Evil Pea wanted posters using garden peas. We made shopping lists, went shopping and saved the trapped vegetables. We counted £1 coins to pay for our shopping . We explored a range of different fruit and vegetables in sensology and some of us were very brave at trying new foods. We made pizzas during cookery and enjoyed fit Friday's with June!
Easter
We had a fanastic week leading up to Easter! We decorated hard boiled eggs then rolled them down Penshaw Hill. We explored a range of objects linked to Easter during sensology. We especially enjoyed exploring the feathers and chocolate! We made chocolate nests during cookery and loved going on a Easter hunt on the Discovery Park. What a fun-filled term we have had :-)
