Summer 1 - Superheroes
This term our topic was Superheroes. We listened to the stories 'There's a Superhero in your Book' and '10 Little Superheroes'. We explored different foods that Superheroes might eat such as fruit and enjoyed making smoothies and fruit salad. We loved turning ourselves into Superheroes by desiging our own masks and explored different super powers. In the middle of the half-term we celebrated the coronation of King Charles lll. We made flags, bunting and expecially enjoying making party food for the big celebration. We had a great time at the party with the rest of school. To end the term we learned about real life Superheroes. We listened to the story 'Emergency Rescue' and had a fun exploring the topic using our senses. We investigated different sounds, smells and the feel of objects linked with each Emergency service. We requested items that motivate us during both Sensology sessions and during choice. Some of us took part in swimming sessions and the rest of us completed different PE challenges. We had a great half-term and can't believe we only have one half-term to go!
