Phonics - Phonics is a way of teaching children how to read and write. It helps children hear, identify and use different sounds that distinguish one word from another in the English language. Each term we will be looking at different sounds and trying to find the picture that makes that sound.
Attention Everyone - is an intervention approach by Speech and Language Therapist Gina Davies which aims to work on the early fundamentals of language including awareness of others, attention, listening, shared attention, switching attention and turn-taking.
Write Dance -Write dancing is a Method developed for young learners to prepare them to learn how to write. Music, Art and Movement will be combined to prepare a child. Before a child can master a skill such as writing, the brain, muscles and senses need to work together as one. To develop this skill children need practice. This method will first help children to get control over their upper body, shoulders and arms before moving to fine motor skills.
