Spring 2: to INFINITY and beyond
This Term we will be learning all about Space and Easter. We will be looking at the planets, sounds, the moon and making rockets, we are going to the discovery museum in Newcastle to experience space.
We are also going to have a teddy bear/ animal, that we are going to name, make, love and let him/her come home with the children.
We will be looking at Easter and making lots of crafts, going on an Easter egg hunt and lots of more exciting things.

This week in Mint class we have been very busy we have enjoyed write dance using rice, we have practiced our shapes and letters. We have made rockets, and aliens, went to the Metro Centre to build a bear and welcomed a "new" member to Mint class Monty the Monkey, on Thursday the children meet Monty the monkey and gave him lots of cuddles.
A little secret about Monty the Monkey he has 9 hearts inside of him, for all the children in Mint Class
We have also loved practising our ball skills and playing parachute games. We even had to to squeeze in the Adventure Playground.
4.3.24 - 8.4.24
This week in Mint Class, we have been very busy making cards, and flowers, and heart shape biscuits for our mams for Mothers Day, some of Mint class have enjoyed going to the Discovery Museum were we experienced a black hole, a gravity machine (which we really enjoyed), made circuits and felt the air come through the tubes, we also played on the pin ball machine. We made the planets Mercury, Mars, and Venus. Then on Friday we have enjoyed PE with June were we played musical mats.
We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday, and had lots of different visitors came to visit there was aliens who love underpants, Buzz Lightyear, Fantastic Mr Fox, Batman, a Dinosaur, Horrid Henry, The Hulk,

Monty goes to Charlies house.
This week Monty the Monkey went home with Charlie, he got lots of hugs and kisses and watched out of the window and got tucked in with his dressing gown on, Charlies mam was also lucky to get a cuddle

This week in Mint class we have been very busy we have made the planet Earth and Jupiter, enjoyed playing with the building blocks, making rockets, a robots, made biscuits in cookery and enjoyed our new Trampett We have in class.
Monty goes to Lily's house
16/17 March, Monty got to spend time at Lily's and her sister Olivia's house, he enjoyed the pictures, a walk along the coast to Saltburn by the sea, he got to try some ice cream and a stake from Tomahawk restaurant and a trip to Smthys toy shop.
