Alternative Traditional Tales
In Literacy this half term we are retelling traditional tales. We are trying to think of an alternative scenario and using colourful semantics as a sentence planner to make a detailed and interesting sentence.
In Maths we are doing additional and subtraction fact families, and are measuring length and height.
We know to measure weight in grams, liquid in millilitres and we are learning to measure length in centimetres.
In science we are looking at plants and trees and what the parts of a plant do.
In music we are learning to play the recorder!!
