This term Mint Class we will be going to visit local landmarks around the North East, then going to the local shop were we will be buying an item. In our life skills session We will be brushing our hair when it's cold and putting sun tan lotion on when the weather is hot. In our maths lessons we will be looking at colour. In Cookery we will be putting all of our skills together that we have learnt over the year and be making a pizza in a mug and a cake in mug.
This Term the Stadium of Light will be doing PE with us.
We will be starting our transitions to our new classes.
We cant wait to show you all the things that we get up to.

3.6.24 - This week in Mint Class we have been looking at the the Angel of the North, We made an angel craft and watched a powerpoint on the angel, looked for different landmarks in the north east.
In cookery we made Pizza in a mug, were we had to grate cheese, put tomato sauce in to our mug, bread we then put it in to the microwave to cook, it was yummy
This term in Pe are are lucky to be working with Alex from the Stadium of Light
For our D day celebrations we made our very own medals, with lots of glitter, staff, feathers, we then got our medals presented to us.
10.6.24 Lighthouse Week
This week we have been very busy we have enjoyed looking at lighthouses, we also made a lighthouse using card and different materials, we have enjoyed a visit to the shop to buy some sweets, in maths we have looked at colour and got very messy, in science we have explore items that float and sink. We have loved attention everyone, were everyone including staff got covered in shaving foam
17.6.24 This week in Mint class, we have looked at castles, we have made a shield, and a sword, explored and played with our role play toys. In cookery we have made pizza in a mug.
We have also been practising our Phonics sounds which we all enjoyed.
We have visited the shop and we were very lucky to go and see the Angel of the North, it's been a very busy week
on Friday it was world music day and we were all rappers, we listened to songs, made a rap, danced and also made paper chains for our necks so we looked cool.
