This half term our topic is 'Space Explorers'!!!!
Space Explorers
This half term we have been learning all about space. We started by learning about Planet Earth and where we live, then we found out about the layers that the Earth is made up of. We then went on to discover information and facts about the Sun and the Moon and how they affect the Earth and how we live. After this we reached out further into the solar system and learnt about the different planets, moons and other things in space!
Over the course of the half term we have been using paint, chalk and ICT software to create artwork of the Earth, Sun, Moon and other planets. We have also used stories linked to space in our literacy lessons and have talked about the differences between fiction and non fiction texts. This half term our P.E. topics have been swimming and sensory dance.
